Program
British calligraphy and book restoration expert Flora Ginn visits Hong Kong for a series of exclusive events. In this "Calligraphy with Double Pencil" master class, participants will learn to use the double pencil as a practical tool to explore the structure, proportion, and rhythm of letterforms. This intensive workshop provides a comprehensive foundation in calligraphic techniques through hands-on practice, perfect for those looking to refine their lettering skills.
About the Artist
Flora Ginn brings extensive experience in bookbinding and lettering. Educated at the City & Guilds of London Arts School (1978–1982), she continued her studies in calligraphy and bookbinding at the University of Roehampton and the Stanhope Institute. Flora established her own bindery in London and served as an assistant to the renowned Bernard Middleton. A Fellow of Designer Bookbinders and a Brother of the Art Workers Guild, Flora has a distinguished career teaching at the City Literary Institute in London. She is dedicated to sharing her craft and expertise with students worldwide.
