Introduction
In the demanding journey of caregiving, it is easy for caregivers to overlook their own stress and physical discomfort. This 'Aromatherapy Experience' workshop is specifically designed for caregivers. Through the natural scents and gentle touch of aromatherapy, participants are guided on a healing journey to relieve stress and physical pain. This is more than just a relaxation session; it is an opportunity for caregivers to learn self-care techniques and build a supportive community.
About 'Department Store of Life and Death'
This workshop is part of the 'Compassionate Community Festival 2026 — Department Store of Life and Death'. The project focuses on various stages of the caregiving journey, showcasing resources and services to help the public improve end-of-life literacy and encourage early life planning. During the three-day event, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service will also present displays on end-of-life values, helping the public gain a deeper understanding of life management and community support resources.
Speakers
We are honored to have UK-certified clinical aromatherapist Kerry Chan as our guest speaker. She will share insights on how aromatherapy can alleviate physical and mental exhaustion and provide practical tips for daily stress relief.

- Fees: This is a free workshop, but participants must pay a HK$20 deposit to reserve a spot.
- Deposit Refund Policy: Participants who arrive for registration within 5 minutes before the event starts and attend the session will receive a full refund of the deposit. The refund will be credited back to the account used for payment within approximately 6 to 8 weeks after the event (actual arrival time depends on individual bank processing). No-shows will not be refunded.
