The HKWINDPIPE Music Ensemble is proud to present its 2026-27 season, opening with "Future Tradition - The Present of Silk and Bamboo: Lingnan Soundscapes." This season features four exclusive concerts that explore the sustainable vitality of Hong Kong Chinese music. Continuing the popular "blind box" concept, each concert invites music lovers to unlock exclusive surprises, while the performances are staged in a variety of venues—from world-class performing arts centers to historic landmarks—to showcase the innovation and resilience of the genre.

Program Details

The season consists of four specially curated concerts:

1. Season Opening: "Future Tradition - The Present of Silk and Bamboo: Lingnan Soundscapes": Held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Theatre, this opening program explores the contemporary interpretation of silk and bamboo music, reflecting on Lingnan culture's past and future.
2. Blind Box Special: Hosted at the Fringe Club (Dairy), an atmospheric historic venue, offering an unexpected musical journey.
3. Blind Box Special: Held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Theatre, continuing the exploration of the future of Chinese music.
4. Season Closing: Taking place at the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre, serving as the grand finale of the season.

Ticketing & Notes

• Suitable for ages 6 and above.
• Concession tickets are available for senior citizens (60+), people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students, and recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA). Please present valid identification upon entry.
• Seat Arrangement: Seating is arranged by HKWINDPIPE Music Ensemble; tickets purchased together will be seated together whenever possible.
• In case of special circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to change the date, time, venue, ticket price, program, or performers.
