Event Introduction
Zhaoze Band is bringing their "Time Has Returned to This Place" album tour to Hong Kong. This immersive concert experience blends the ethereal, ancient sounds of the guqin with raw, powerful guitar distortion and rhythmic drumming, creating a unique soundscape that transports the audience through memories and time.
About Zhaoze
Often categorized as post-rock, Zhaoze carves out a niche entirely their own. Since 2006, the band has been pioneering the electrification and modernization of the ancient Chinese instrument, the guqin. By seamlessly fusing the guqin and xiao (flute) with modern rock elements, they infuse their music with the sweeping, lyrical imagery of traditional Chinese landscape painting. Their performances have resonated with audiences across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, earning them international acclaim.
