Actors' Family Musical "Yu Liang" | 2026 "Artistic" Greater Bay Area Performance Season

Highlights
"Yu Liang" is the flagship 35th-anniversary production of Hong Kong's renowned Actors' Family. Funded by the National Arts Fund and featured in the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's "Chinese Culture Festival," this production brings the legendary life of Pan Yuliang to the Shenzhen Bay Performing Arts Center in November 2026.

## Program Details
This musical invites the audience into the vibrant art world of Pan Yuliang. The event is structured in two parts: the first is an immersive pre-show exhibition where the venue is transformed into a gallery displaying Pan Yuliang's works; the second is the 2-hour-15-minute musical performance. Blending theater, music, dance, and multimedia, the production explores the challenges and artistic choices of the first Chinese female painter to study in France.

## Creative Team
The creative team features screenwriter Hui Chun-pong, composer and arranger Wong Chi-ying, and lyricist Tang Ka-wing. Directed and produced by Yiu Yun-man, with joint choreography by Yang Yuntao (Artistic Director of the Hong Kong Dance Company) and Xie Yin, the performance utilizes dance to deepen the narrative impact.

## Ticketing & Benefits
Tickets are now available. Audience members purchasing tickets at the HKD 221 tier can redeem a ticket for the screening of "A Beautiful Day" upon presenting their physical ticket stub (limited quota, first-come, first-served). Please note: one ticket per person, children under 1.2m are not admitted.
