The Hong Kong Baptist University Christian Band (BUCB) is proud to present their annual concert, “F5.” The theme centers on the “F5” key on a computer, symbolizing a “refresh” and a renewal of life. In these changing times, we often feel powerless or lost in our faith, our outlook on the future, or our personal relationships. Like the Prophet Elijah who experienced his own moments of despair, this concert invites the audience to listen for the “still small voice,” re-examine our current situation, and respond to our calling. The band hopes to explore how to cope with feelings of helplessness, identify our own calling, and embrace hope for the unknown through this musical journey.
Program Introduction
This concert serves as a space for soul-searching and dialogue. Through music and reflection, band members will delve into the struggles within their faith, encouraging the audience to find strength even in moments of confusion. It is more than just a performance; it is a collective act of spiritual reflection. We invite you to join us to refresh your perspective, clarify your direction, and find peace and belief through the melodies.
