MTR is excited to present the 'Despicable Me 4' movie-themed Light Rail train, bringing the popular Minions characters into the Light Rail network. This limited-time event runs on weekends and public holidays from June 27 to July 12, offering 7 days of fun for summer travelers.

Program

The themed train will operate on the exclusive 'Light Rail Discovery' route. Passengers can enjoy the themed decorations within the carriages while traveling between Siu Hong, Tuen Mun, and Tin Shui Wai stations. It is a fantastic opportunity for families to explore hidden gems within the local community along the light rail lines.

Ticketing

Tickets are available in two categories:

• Member Priority: MTR Mobile members can redeem an electronic purchase voucher starting June 25, 3:00 PM, using 3,000 MTR points, allowing them to purchase the 'Light Rail Travel Pass' set at a discounted price of HK$78.
• Standard: The 'Light Rail Travel Pass' set is available for HK$88.
• Notes: Each adult passenger may bring one child aged 3 or below for free (no set required). Children aged 3 or above must purchase their own set.
• Restrictions: Passengers cannot get off at intermediate stations (except Tuen Mun Town Centre and Tin Wing stations), and re-boarding on other themed train schedules is not permitted after the trip.
• Payment: Electronic payment methods are accepted, including Octopus, QR codes (Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay), and contactless credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay).

Venue & Access

The themed train departs from Platform 4 of Light Rail Siu Hong Station. Participants are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time to complete the ticketing process and ensure a smooth boarding experience.
