Program Overview\n"Siu Hei's Carefree Journey" is a bespoke musical theatre production for families, presented by the One Table Two Chairs Charitable Foundation. The story follows young Siu Hei, whose disappointment over a suddenly cancelled school trip is transformed into a delightful surprise by her mother and grandfather, leading to an unexpected and enchanting cultural adventure.\n\n## Highlights\nThis production serves as more than just a children's play; it is an immersive cultural experience. Under the artistic direction of Cantonese opera master Yuen Siu-fai, the play innovatively fuses the traditional art of "Nanyin" with classical Tang poetry. Featuring music by the renowned composer Ng Cheuk-yin, the show brings literature to life through emotive and rhythmic performance. It is an ideal outing for multi-generational families to experience the beauty of traditional culture together.\n\n## Creative Team\nThe production features a stellar creative team including Artistic Director, Lyricist, and performer Yuen Siu-fai; Music Director, Composer, and Arranger Ng Cheuk-yin; Playwright and performer Tsang Mo-suet; and Director Au Pui-ying. The cast also includes Wong Hei-man, with Cheung Chor-kiu also contributing as a lyricist.\n\n## Performance Details\nThe performance runs for approximately 1 hour with no intermission and is performed in Cantonese. A post-performance artist talk will be held after the 3:30 PM session on July 19.\n\n## Venue & Access\nThe performances will be held at the Cultural Activities Hall of the Tsuen Wan Town Hall.
